• Implement the actions and plans from the Next 10 Years Community Engagement

• Protect our community against the impacts of over-development

• Combat social isolation and promote community connection by providing inclusive places, spaces, events, and programs

PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE AND FACILITIES

• Lobby for improved public infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, and public transport   

• Open the North Sydney Olympic Pool

• Finish the cycle network and expand active transport opportunities

ENVIRONMENTAL AND GREEN SPACE INITIATIVES

• Expand green space and create new public open spaces   

• Increase tree canopy

HOUSING AND LAND USE

• Work with the State Government to ensure the return of public land at Cammeray, Anzac, St Leonards Parks, Berry’s Bay including Woodley’s Shed, and Bradfield Park

• Deliver more affordable housing in partnership with State and Federal Governments​

GOVERNANCE AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

• Continue to increase transparency, accountability, and strong governance in all of Council’s operations

• Strengthen Council’s financial position

YOUTH AND COMMUNITY SERVICES

• Focus on youth services and ensure access and inclusion are central to Council’s plans, policies, and services

• Continue to engage with schools and other institutions on access to facilities and participation in community events and activities
